About

Assistant Professor at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in Italy and member of the AImageLab, led by Prof. Rita Cucchiara.

Previously, I held a Postdoctoral Researcher position in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Milan, Italy as a founding member of the PHuSe Lab.
I completed my Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences, supervised by Prof. Giuseppe Boccignone, with a dissertation on ”A Probabilistic Approach to the Construction of a Multimodal Affect Space”.

Beyond academia, I worked as an interaction developer at the Milan-based design studio dotdotdot, creating permanent and temporary interactive installations that fused architecture, design, and digital technology.

My current research focuses on HVA human visual attention, RPM remote physiological measurement and AC affective computing.
